The Memphis Botanic Garden Displays Their Ode to Origami Yet Again

The Memphis Botanic Garden is excited to announce its next outdoor exhibition Origami in the Garden 2. The Garden will showcase metal works that will spark creativity and unfold imagination. This six-month exhibit will feature 24 museum-quality, outdoor sculptures, depicting origami-inspired works crafted by artists Kevin Box, Te Jui Fu, Beth Johnson, Michael G. LaFosse, and Robert Lang.

These sixteen museum-quality, fine art, outdoor, metal sculptures will be displayed throughout our 31 specialty gardens and will be accompanied by a broad array of programming and events. The Memphis Botanic Garden will be the first venue in our region of the country to host this exhibit.

They will provide ample opportunities for guests to ponder origami's simple messages and learn its history through interpretive signage, hands-on paper demonstrations and lectures. We are excited for school children in our community to view this exhibit and participate in curriculum on Asian culture & arts!

At The Grove at Trinity Pointe Apartments in Cordova, Tennessee, we pride ourselves on informing our residents about all the upcoming events our beautiful community has to offer. Don’t hesitate to join this event on Sunday!
