Skip the Gym and Head to Sunset Yoga at Dixon Gallery and Gardens on July 18th

On Thursday, July 18, the Dixon Gallery and Gardens will present Sunset Yoga. Bring your mat and practice yoga with certified personal trainer and fitness instructor Peggy Reisser. Don’t miss it next Thursday, beginning at 6:30 p.m.!
Founded in 1976 by Hugo and Margaret Dixon, the Dixon Gallery and Gardens is a fine art museum and public garden distinguished by its diverse and innovative programs in the arts and horticulture. The Dixon features a permanent collection of over 2,000 objects, including French and American Impressionist paintings and significant holdings of German and English porcelain.

The museum organizes and presents eight to ten exhibitions every year, the diversity of which appeals to visitors of all ages. The Dixon’s seventeen-acre campus is a highly regarded public garden that includes formal spaces, woodland tracts, and cutting gardens. The Dixon is accredited by the American Association Museums and is a member of the American Public Gardens Association and Botanical Gardens Conservation International.

What could be better than ending your day with a soothing yoga routine? So, head to Dixon Gallery and Gardens for a picturesque experience you’ll want to return to again and again! All are welcome. A reasonable level of fitness is necessary, although modifications will be made for various levels of experience. The cost for the yoga session is $5 for non-members and free for members.
