Not Ready for Football Season to End Quite Yet? Good Thing There Is the AutoZone Liberty Bowl

Spend your New Year’s Eve in Memphis, as the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Missouri Tigers face-off during the 61st Annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl!

The AutoZone Liberty Bowl is one of college football's oldest and most tradition-rich post-season bowl games. The AutoZone Liberty Bowl game was founded in Philadelphia in 1959 and the inaugural game featured a match-up between Penn State and Alabama. That game began a tradition of great stars and exciting football and was the first of 60 thrilling chapters in the history of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Football Classic.

Signature events include the festive AutoZone Liberty Bowl Parade, complete with university and high school bands and the pep rally at Handy Park, but the fun doesn't stop there! You can also be treated like royalty at the President's Gala, held at the Peabody Hotel Memphis and hob knob with dignitaries and celebrities from across the nation for an evening of food, drink, dancing, and entertainment.

Another proud tradition is the Bowl’s terrific partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which combines winning college football tradition with an internationally recognized research facility. St. Jude is dedicated to helping children throughout the world in their fight against catastrophic diseases.
